My house on Monticelli Tower Lake is in the heart of the city, a short drive from downtown Orlando and Tampa Bay. Now I had the opportunity to find my heartbeat in a beautiful new home in Orlando, near Tampa Bay. It is a house with a great view of Lake Okeechobee, a few miles from downtown Orlando.
For good family fun Lake Eva Park is just minutes away from my new home and offers a variety of activities for children and adults as well as a playground for the children. There are hiking trails and covered areas where you can relax while your children play. Sports enthusiasts can swim at Haines City Aquatic Center, play a round at Southern Dunes Golf Club or simply stroll through the picturesque downtown area known for its quaint cafes, shops and restaurants.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has 6,283 housing units, the second highest number in the state of Florida and the third highest in Florida. There is no land, but there is water and it is part of the city of Haines City, which in turn is considered part of the Tampa Bay Area, according to the U.S. Census.

The railroad has always been a part of the history of Haines City, and freight and passenger trains have been running through the city, although the station has been closed for many years. Early settlers planted citrus fruits, and the cultivation and processing of citrus fruits became the main industry of the city and citrus grower. Created by the Ringling Brothers and the Barnum & Bailey Circus, the theme park is still open in the same location as the original circus. North of the city on US 27 is a small town with about 1,000 inhabitants and a little over 2,500 inhabitants.
