My 15yr old son was injured Sept 09. I spent two months in hospital with him and two months with MD appts etc. He doing better every day and has fixed PT schedule so NOW I can get back to work, fix my finances and move on; aiming for end of 2010. While I'm open to a LTR down the road, ideally I'll find a FWB situation for now due to time limitations.

The trails and test that life has given to me have only made me stronger.

The past three months have not been easy, I was giving the gift of health Issues, after a minor Surgery the hospital gave me a very bad infection. It's funny as a Gay man you take precaution to avoid Issues that we all face and I managed to avoid All S.T.D.'s with precautions, and trusting a doctor and a hospital makes you sick, Do not misunderstand me, I'm Still H.I.V. negative, I'm compassionate to those how are not, I spent 3 months on I.V.'s and battling infections, the great news is I'm getting better and better everyday. my Point is I truly know how fragile life can be, I have enjoyed being single, I was in a long term relationship, It did not work out I felt he was my true love we just didn't like each other, lol. unfortunately he had a heart attack and passed a few months ago at age 45, I'm grateful that I was able to talk with him and know that there where no hard feelings between us.

So here I am, I don't think I need to spend the rest of my life with someone, I want to, this will not be an easy task for "THE ONE" See I'm a dreamer sometimes I get carried away, I always seem to see the best in everyone, Yet get angry when there is injustice, I love to joke and play pranks and sometimes laugh when I shouldn't. I don't have the highest of self esteem, I'm working on that and need to lose a few LBS.

I'm pretty easy to get along with and I LOVE laughing and making people laugh. I try my hardest at everything I do and I never give up trying. Music is my thing and am looking for some cool people to share that interest with. I am also looking for the one. Looking to date and hang out. Movies are awesome...So are books...and guitars. Iced coffee's are great...I'm not addicted to the caffine...just the taste. I've recently started getting into Karaoke, which is pretty thrilling. lol My favorite color is green. I'm comfortable in my own skin and would like to find a kindred spirit who's ready for a real relationship, a committed collaboration between two consenting adults. No weekend hook-ups or interminable email trails, no co-dependency, and no dysfunction. 2. No Young Children: My kids are in their 20s and on their own. I like kids but do not want to have any more or raise any more.

3. Non-Religious: No God, no Jesus, No Mohammed, no services.

4. Free-Thinking: You think for yourself, and those thoughts are outside the box.

5. Completely Available: The baggage of your past relationships â?? no matter how good or bad â?? should be limited to a small carry-on that can fit easily under the seat in front of you.

6. Sexual: You've got to love it. No hang-ups. Nothing kinky.

7. Fit: Not a world class athlete, but not a couch potato either. I prefer petite to average, on the short side, and don't care for big & beautiful.

8. Empowered: No victims, no patients, no doormats. I like a woman who is self-sufficient, self-supporting, and has good self-esteem.

9. Emotionally Stable: No serious mental issues, no passive-aggressives, no crazy phobias.

10. Tolerant: No bigots, racists, ideologues, or wonks. Must be smoke, alcohol, and IV:XX friendly.

If it sounds like Iâ??m being harsh or too selective, thatâ??s okay. Certainly there are plenty of guys on this site that will settle for less than what they want; Iâ??m not one of them. I know what I want and what I like, so why not be clear up front?

I am bored with what's out there! Everyone seems to either be into drugs, meaningless sex, have absolutely no personality, cocky, or taken. I realize by sounding mature and intelligent (I suppose now I sound conceited as well, not right either :p) I seem like I am no fun or have ZERO personality, but I can assure you that is nowhere near the truth. I'm new to the Spring Hill area. I enjoy traveling. If the place is new and exotic, or quiet and remote - then it's for me. I also enjoy good conversation with mindful people. What makes something fun is about the company you keep more than what your doing. I like a lot of things. I don't watch a lot of TV, when I do though it's Court TV, or the Ghost Hunters...or Trek. That's right, I said it. I like to be active, and regularly go to the gym or participate in outdoor activities. I think a healthy body makes for a healthy outlook on life. I'm intellectual, and tend to be involved with more intellectual people. I like music, Roman History, and small local restaurants and quiet areas, and small towns that are just screaming to be explored.
